Costs or Fees
This certified product-version may come with the following associated costs / fees:
1. Yearly support fee per provider (paid yearly or monthly) starting after the first year.
2. Yearly eprescribing fee per provider (paid yearly only). If available, this will include a separate fee for controlled Rx. Also with eprescribing of controlled Rx, there will be an annual token maintenance fee which resets the subscription for the token-based 2-factor authentication method used to prescribe controlled Rx.
3. If the client chooses a locally-installed server setup, a purchase of Oracle is required. The client will be contacted on how to do this. This is not expensive.
4. There is a small yearly renewal fee for the drug contraindication database (DIT).
5. Some fees for on-demand support are excluded in basic support coverage. Examples are: server migrations, server installations, cloud setups (in the case of choosing a hosted solution rather than a local installation on a client-owned server)
6. If the client chooses a hosted solution, a monthly fee applies for maintenance of the cloud (hosted server environment). If the client wishes to cancel said hosted solution, he/she must do so by emailing admin@praxisemr.com. Cancellations of cloud hosting solutions must be received with 30 days notice, otherwise the full month's charges will apply.
7. Training: Upon license purchase, clients are provided with one-on one training sessions with our certified trainers at no additional cost based on following structure: 1 provider receives 25 hours of one on one training; the second, and all other providers receive 10 hours each so that a 2 provider clinic would get 35 hours of training, a three provider clinic would get 45, and so on..
After this time has been consumed, the client must purchase more pre-paid training time if needed, or will be billed for training that takes place after the allotted time has been consumed or has expired (unused training hours given with license purchases expire after one year).
Contractual Limitations
Use of the Praxis EMR software license is limited to one provider per license.
